"This was my second attempt at manual off-camera flash photography." Working in hot and humid conditions, I managed to underexpose the ambient light by one f-stop using a 77mm neutral density filter. The cardboard model was captured with a Canon EOS-1D Mark IV digital SLR and EF 24-70mm f/2.8L lens while diffusing the light of my Canon 580EX flash through a 35-inch white umbrella on a light stand.
