This Great Horned Owlet was just short of three weeks old when I made this photo. It's one of two Owlets on the nest. This is the more inquisitive of the two, always looking at whatever makes noise, and anything else it could see. On this day, a Downy Woodpecker was making some noise further up in the tree, and the Owlet was keeping an eye on it.
