This buck was in the field grazing at Cades Cove in Tennessee. I tried to keep my distance so I wouldn't startle him but he noticed me anyway. He stood there watching me for a few minutes before running off. Shot with Canon 600D, Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM; exposure was set at 1/200 sec, f/5.6, ISO 800 at 400mm.
