Grand Canyon Desert Watchtower by Leon Rafner
Taken on Kodak Royal Gold 25 with Horizon 202 (24 x 58mm) swing lens camera mounted on a tripod. Exposure f8 1/125s. Negative scanned on Epson 4870. I used PShop to clean the scan and to burn and increase contrast in the distant portions of the photo, similar to what I did in the darkroom on the print.
Horizon photos normally have a blur on the right side caused when the swing lens slams into the camera body; in this particular instance the blur is concealed by the tree.
