On a winter day I was on a "vaporetto" (public transportation boat) heading to the island of Burano, in the northern part of Venice lagoon. It was a foggy afternoon with a very limited visibility. Two gondolas suddenly emerged from the fog, each one with two gondoliers rowing in sync. Right after taking this picture, they disappeared again into the fog.
