I'd gone to the beach for the kite festival and it was fun seeing all the bright colors and varied kite designs. The late morning breeze quickly turned to gale winds and the festival had to be cancelled. Fortunately I got a bunch of shots before they did, ramping up the timing with each one. I finally got this one where you could see the tails, but they were flapping so violently they were a blur with the naked eye.
