This view demonstrates the grandeur of one of the more popular views in the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. This picture shows the Salamander Glacier (Grinnell Glacier hidden just below). This glacier drains into the area containing the greatly diminished Grinnell Glacier which is draining into Grinnell Lake (also not shown). Lake Josephine can be seen in the foreground.

This photograph was taken with a Nikon D600, Nikkor 24-70mm zoom lens focused at 60mm. The exposure is ISO 160, 1/2500, F2.8. Exposure compensation is -3 stop.
