"Fleeting:" This was another image from last month when I was returning to Sedona to attempt to capture more of the meteor shower, but each night after the first attempt was thwarted by more clouds the darker it became. The moon was behind me and also dodging between the clouds, and at times it would illuminate the red rocks from the shadows. I almost abandoned the entire night's effort when seeing the increasing cloud cover, but then realized maybe I could still incorporate them in the image after all-- some were wispy and others more billowy, but all were fleeting in their migration across the sky.
Nikon D810, 24-70mm lens @ 24mm.
