My father and I took a trip to the west coast and while weaving through the mountains we sped past this jut-out with deserted fish nets and crab traps. The lighting looked about right so we whirled the car around and drove back to the spot so i could lean out the window and take the picture before getting hit by oncoming traffic! I used a Nikon D50 with an 18-55 mm lens on regular portrait mode. This was taken in the mid afternoon in Washington near a small fishing town and harbor.
