While walking through downtown Seattle, I spotted this homeless man and his dog crouched in a doorway. I love dogs and just had to capture this precious pup keeping his person company. As difficult as life may be at times, we never have to walk through it alone.

The bag was originally a bright orange color which distracted focus from the overall scene. To mitigate this, I opted for a partially desaturated image, keeping only the dog saturated to draw focus where it should be. Have also removed logos from the bag and t-shirt to meet stock editorial requirements.
