John Chintall - The photo was captured at Forsythe Refuge in Oceanville, NJ. The cardinal was interrupted having dinner; look closely at the green worm in the beak. The cardinal and it's mate were content in posing for several minutes before leaving. A Nikon D4 with a 300-800mm, f/5.6 lens was used to capture this shoot at 1/250 sec.,f/8, ISO 100 with matrix metering.
