"Envious" Chicago IL

When visiting Chicago last year, I was walking up Michigan Ave. toward the Art Institute. Just south of the museum, several statues were placed in various positions around the garden. It was around lunchtime. The statue next to the woman was positioned so that it appeared to be looking at her takeout food. Was he hungry?
