It doesn't always have to be some exotic land or legendary destination; the land always has stories to tell us if we are listening. This encounter was in a sleepy little farm town in Upstate New York. I couldn't ignore the history of this old hay barn and the life it had shared with the surrounding farmland and amazing rolling hills. Now in its later years, this weakened structure has been through and seen plenty and all I could think was "Job well done." Shot with an Olympus PEN-1, M. Zuiko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, f/14 at 1/25 sec. Tiffen Circular Polarizer filter.
