Five Bridges across the Potomac River, Virginia to Washington, DC. I rode the tour boat four times between Alexandria, VA, and Georgetown, DC, in order to get the right images at the right time of day. I think I came away with a treasure chest. The first bridge is a very rusty railroad bridge still in use, the second is for the Washington Metro, the third thru fifth bridges are the 14th Street Bridges. In the 1970s an Air Florida airplane taking off from National Airport crashed between the farthest two bridges during a winter storm.
The image was taken with my Canon 6D, ISO 200, 1/60 @ f/18 using my Canon 24-105 set to 24mm. I have adjusted the photo using PS Lightroom 5 only. More of my images are at Potomac-images.com.
