A solitary duck paddled across the emerald-green, palm tree reflecting water of a pond in Hawaii on its mid-day voyage. The water’s surface was disturbed by a mild breeze that changed the usual accurate reflection of nearby palm trees into a shimmering, greenish, abstract jewel-like effect on the surface.
