The now abandoned town of Kolmanskop, Namibia, once thrived with the discovery of diamonds in the endless sand dunes. When the diamonds played out and the miners moved on to the next big discovery, the town slowly died, and was finally abandoned in the 1950s. Now the relentless sand and wind are slowly reclaiming the town, and many of the buildings are slowly filling with sand.
