"Don't Poke the Bear!"
Shot with a Canon 60D using a 50mm f/1.4, an aperture of f/2.8, a shutter speed of 1/800, and ISO of 200.
While walking through Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, I was informed that they had completely redone the Polar Bear exhibit. The bear sanctuary was impressive, and one of the polar bears was clearly enjoying himself by swimming lazily in slow methodical circles. Even going belly up and pushing off various walls. The other bear in the sanctuary had just woken up from a nap and decided that swimming bear was having way too much fun and decided to pick a fight. It became apparent very quickly to onlookers that our slow swimmer was quite "put out" by having his daytime dip interrupted by the other grumpy bear. This shot was caught in the heat of the moment between them. Luckily for everyone they resolved their issues quickly and grumpy bear left the swimmer alone to enjoy his pool time.
