I was at the Fish Creek Wildlife Reserve in southeast Alaska one evening in August, 2015. After a wait of nearly two hours, and with diminishing light, a lone female grizzly bear emerged from the woods. She proceeded to grab three large salmon from the creek over the course of one hour. I was able to capture this photo of her chowing down on one of them on the opposite bank of the creek. Photo taken with a Canon EOS T5i, Canon EF-S 55-250mm IS STM lens at 250mm, 1/200 sec at f/ 5.6, ISO 6400.
