This is a pre-sunset photo taken at Death Valley's Mesquite Dunes, using a Canon 5D Mark II camera with a 24-105mm Canon lens. The focal length was 32mm; exposure of 1/20 sec, f/16, ISO 100. Minor touchup in Photoshop CS6, then converted to B&W with Nik Silver Effects. Copyright Dan Mottaz.
