This is one of several dead tree snags on a small island on Curlew Lake in Republic, Washington. All of these trees provide nesting sites for Great Blue Heron. It is quite the site to see and hear as well as these large birds fly in and out of these nests feeding their chicks. Taken with a Nikon D7100 and a Tamron 150-600mm lens.
