As is typical for mid-November in Ireland, it was wet, cool, and ... green. We were visiting Killarney National Park, well known for the ruins of Ross Castle, and because of the time of year we were almost the only ones there. When a sudden downpour occurred my wife started to walk quickly over to where our daughter and her husband were, just off the frame to the right. I had only a chance to get two quick snaps, this one being the more powerful of the two. The rain soon subsided to a light drizzle and I managed to get a few more "keepers" in the park, but this is one my favorite photos - and my wife wasn't even aware that I was taking it. And it's one that when I show people the first comment is invariably "Ireland"!
