The village of Corbera has been destroyed many times, the latest being 1938 in the Spanish Civil War, during one of the most important and violent of the battles, leaving a legacy of a destroyed and abandoned village to remind people of the horrors of war, but which has been transformed into an artistic alphabet, an alphabet of peace, a Monument to Peace. My photographic homage is a multiple image diptych taken with a Holga Camera, incorporating some of the old buildings, alphabet, and signage found on a building, and scanned without photoshop or post processing techniques.
