I captured this image in Pagosa Springs Colorado. A few friends and I were driving down the road when the rainbow was spotted. We pulled over and took several shots. Unlike in Pennsylvania, where rainbows only last a few seconds at best, this rainbow lasted long enough for us to continue to 3 different places to photograph it.

I used my Pentax K7 with my Tamron AF DII 18-200mm lens.
