The Wildhorse Wind and Solar Facility is located on a high ridge just west of the Columbia River in Central Washington State. The visitor center is open from late March until Late November. This shot was taken late in the afternoon in mid-November as the skies to the west cleared somewhat just before sunset. The sun broke through and cast shadows of the clouds far to the east out over the farmland of the plains of eastern Washington. Shot with the Nikon D750 and the Nikon 70-300mm lens at 140mm, f/11, 1/125 sec, ISO 800.
