A shot I had to take while it lasted. Spring 2015 found water in this part of the Granite Dells at Willow lake for the first time in many years, and a drain of the lake a week later brought back the muck and dry dirt that surrounds the area. The tree itself is positioned in the flat area just before a rather large cliff. I originally saw the shot from the other side of the view seen here, but wanted to catch the sun in the frame. I made my way around the back and wedged myself between the cliff behind and the tree in front with sun setting in the background. I had to go in the water to angle camera just above the waterline, then waited for the ripples to subside.
