I took this photo of Children's Harbor Lighthouse early last fall. It's about an hour's drive from my house, so I got going early, but miscalculated my drive time and had about 15 minutes to setup and shoot when I arrived. I was lucky to catch this shot on a very serene and peaceful morning. Children's Harbor Campground is located in Kowaliga, Alabama along the shores of Lake Martin. The campground hosts camps and events for special needs children and works closely with a local children's hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. I was hoping to have a little more time to work this area but sometimes luck plays a big part in the outcome!
