Above 11,000 feet, this is the trail from Summit Lake to Chicago Lakes overlook area. It's an easy trail, even for this flatlander who still hasn't adjusted after 8 years in Colorado. So lucky to have so many beautiful mountain views all over the state. Mt Evans is my favorite hangout, and this trail on a beautiful summer day is always a treat. c. isabel c. rodriguez
