Nikon D7200, 18-55 "kit" lens at 55mm, ISO 8000, 1/15 at f/5.6. The view I wanted was best available from a top-floor hotel restaurant on the European side of the Bosphorus, but the first attempt failed because the windows were filthy. I noticed one window (ONE!) was openable, a little 8x8" or so "port" (no idea why). Came back the next night EARLY, when they opened for dinner, asked for that table. We had a great meal, loitered over dessert and coffee until the light was right. Grabbed camera out of bag, waited until no one was paying attention, opened window, rested camera on frame, and got what may be my best pic of Istanbul yet!
