I took a visit to the Merced National Wildlife Refuge in January. I went to find the wintering snow geese, but they were staying on the inner ponds away from the auto route. There was plenty to see anyway. It was an overcast day with the water reflecting a white/gray sky. This stilt was wading in still water and made a nice reflection.
