Came across this beautiful Black-mane Lion at a watering hole in Etosha National Park, Namibia. The Lion was pretty much strutting his stuff around the water hole keeping all other animals at bay. Eventually he left. Black-mane Lions are said to be mature in age, well fed, and getting plenty of lovin from the ladies.Camera was a Canon 7D Mk II with the Canon 500mm f4 lens on a tripod. Settings for the photo as follows. Aperture was 8, speed was 1/400 sec and ISO was at 100.
