This shot was taken in the fall of 2013 at Black Hills part in Boys, MD. I set up across the lake near sun set with my Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 and shot this at 1/250s, f/10, ISO 360 on my Nikon D600. I shot about 60 photos from that location on an almost cloudless evening. This shot is actually about 9 times this size and included a beautiful reflection of the autumn leave on the lake, but I cropped down to the just center to focus on more of the details on the shot. The building in the center is the visitor center of the park. Where I shot was just a short walk down the hill from a small parking lot just as the parkland starts (a great place for fishing).
