Bivalve used to be an oyster harvesting community located in Commercial Township New Jersey during the first half of the 20th century. A lethal parasite called MSX decimated the region's oyster population in the 1950s, taking the fate of Bivalve with it. Only a few remains of buildings and oyster boats remain.
To me,this reflected building with the remains of an oyster boat is a true 'beauty'!
