We take our bird feeders in at night for a good reason. Raccoons and bears find them overnight and easily disassemble tubes for the oil seed. This brave youngster climbed onto the deck rail to help himself to lunch during daylight. Not wanting to chance an angry encounter on the porch, I got my shot through the kitchen window at a safe distance.
