This "double entendre" warning caught my eye on the door of an old barn in Upstate NY. The brilliant red walls of the barn seemed to emphasize the impact of the guidance... and I accepted them as "words to live by!" The hay rack even suggested the shape of a bull's head as I absorbed the composition. The image was made on Velvia 100F film in October 2006 using a Nikon F100 body and a Nikon 35-70mm lens at 50mm with a circular polarizer. The exposure was at 1/4 second at f/8 with an ISO of 100. The equipment was supported on a Manfrotto Carbon One tripod. The slide was scanned on a Nikon CoolScan 5000 and then post processed in Photoshop CS5 with minor Curves and Saturation adjustments and sharpening. (by Gary Larsen)
