I was in Chicagoland, visiting a relative, and looked out her dining room window. I saw these berries still clininging to the snow laden branches and had to snap the photo in early March 2013. The red of the berries was a sharp contrast to the white snow and dark branches of the tree, and I had to snap the photo as the snow continued to fall laying an eight inch thick blanket on the ground. Patti took this photo with her Sony A290, and her Minolta/Sony AF 75-300 lens. ISO 200, 135 mm, f5.6, 1/250 seconds.
