I’ve always been touched by the sense of time and place that is conveyed by man-made structures and how they, like us, are born, live and die, while the seasons pass year after year. The late afternoon light touching the wild grapes and revealing the texture of the barn siding gave me a sense of the continuity and solidarity of life through all its seasons. This images was exposed at 1/8 sec.at F 9.5 on a Canon 5D with a EF24-105 F4 IS USM lens.
