While composing several views of the Lewis Falls, I noticed several small vignettes of water patterns flowing
through rock boulders and ledges along the shore. These moving water patterns were in full shade but captured brilliantly reflected golden light from broad-leaf maple trees standing just beyond the shadows in
full light. The resulting patterns shimmered in flowing golden sheets.
