Heavy winter rains brought the most spectacular spring wildflower season we have seen in the Arizona desert for many years. These poppies were captured at Bartlett Lake in Maricopa County.

The image was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with a Canon EF 70-200 lens. Settings were 1/100 second at f/16 - ISO 400.
