Photographer and videographer Roger Ballen’s work is dark, surreal, and downright creepy. And there are many people out there who would consider it art. But what about your work? Are you a photographer or an artist?

That’s the question Ballen asks in the provocative video below produced by the Cooperative of Photography (COOPH). It’s an intriguing clip in which Ballen offers seven thoughts on photography and art while showcasing his own mind-bending work.
