Patrolling the road in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado looking for photographical wildlife, I spied this Mule Deer buck with a nice rack still in velvet. I also like how the bare limbs of the brush he was standing in almost lent a “camouflage” effect with his antlers. Nikon D200, Sigma f/4.5 500mm lens on tripod, ISO 400, exposure unrecorded but approximately 1/500th sec on Shutter Priority.
