For those unfamiliar with Google's Android operating system, the mascot is an adorable green robot figure. Each software update is given a code name, always named after a dessert: Froyo, Jelly Bean, Honeycomb etc. When a new software update was released, a fiberglass statue of that sweet was unveiled in front of a building at the Googleplex.
One day I went to go look as part of my Silicon Valley Stock beat, and there were signs noting that the sculpture garden had moved. I was quite amused when I arrived at the new sculpture garden location. The fiberglass sculptures were left in an unfinished state, some with their parts scattered on the dirt below.
