This image is special to me for many reasons, but mostly because it occurred during a wonderful week of sailing aboard the historic schooner J & E Riggin, on Maine's beautiful Penobscot Bay. We had just anchored in a protected inlet and fog was creeping in on our ship as well as our fleet-mate the Tabor, just across from us. The final touch was the crew member in the dingy, rowing between the two vessels. It wouldn't have looked any different had I captured it a century earlier. It's also a special memory because I was using my 35mm Canon Eos Elan II, not long before I transitioned from film to the digital format. I no longer have the technical details, but I used a Canon EF-S 18-55mm lens and digitized the negative on an HP scanner.
