While traveling on a Louisiana road I noticed this alligator resting on a log across a canal. The water was calm and made for a nice reflection of the reptile. Camera was a Canon 7D, f/8, shutter 1/320, ISO 400 and -1 exposure compensation. Lens was a Canon EF 300mm f2.8 L IS USM with a Canon Extender EF 2x ll. Photoshop Elements 11 used for brightness, contrast and sharpening.
