From Bradenton Florida to Englewood Florida so far this year(2023) Lol, the coastal thunderstorms are not happening soon enough.Throw in the Saharan Dust layer and well let's just keep it at that. Anticipating a northbound wanna be storm over Boca Grande I kept waking up every 45 minutes to see more development slowly moving north to my location in Venice,FL.Finally I saw some flashes of lightning and left the house sleep walking to the beach at 1:30 a.m. Using my second a6000 body,I sat on the tide line watching the wimpy storm avoid me. After about (30, 30 second long exposures) I made the decision to sit under the Venice Pier. It was glassy, small shore break with a full moon. Satisfied with my composition I wifi'd the file to my mobile device and processed the image with Snapseed. Rotated the image for effect, eliminated the orange tinge of light on the pilings.
