Anticipating a northbound wanna be storm over Boca Grande I kept waking up every 45 minutes to see more development slowly moving north to my location in Venice,FL.Finally I saw some flashes of lightning and left the house sleep walking to the beach at 1:30 a.m. Using my second a6000 body,I sat on the tide line watching the wimpy storm avoid me. After about (30, 30 second long exposures) I made the decision to sit under the Venice Pier. It was glassy, small shore break with a full moon. Satisfied with my composition I wifi'd the file to my mobile device and processed the image with Snapseed. Rotated the image for effect, eliminated the orange tinge of light on the pilings.
