We spent the day with the habituated Chimpanzees in the Kabali National Forest, Uganda. Early in the morning the Chimpanzees are high in the tree tops where they have their nests. Eventually they descend finding fig trees to eat the fruit. Later in the day they come all the way down to the ground where they congregate or run along paths to find places to rest after eating. This is where they also groom each other. Eventually they ascend back into the trees at dusk occupying different nests than the ones used the previous night to avoid potential predators.
