Bored while perched behind the trunk of this tree, waiting for the sun to set and bring out the color I was hoping for, I decided to experiment a bit. This is a series of 7 shots with a wide angle lens, stitched together in post. The trunk is so large and has such incredible texture and form that it seemed a shame to waste so much of it confining it to one shot. I converted to Black and White as the shots had direct light providing strong contrast, I saved the color shots for later in the evening.
