The Eastern Sierra is one of the most beautiful places in fall. There are quite a few orange aspen, which are especially dramatic when backlit. I shot this with a 200mm lens at f4.0 to give it a soft feel. Gear: Canon 5D MkIII, 70-200mm lens, handheld. Settings: ISO 100, 200mm, 1/500 sec.
