Nikon introduced a new entry-level DSLR this morning: the small, lightweight and portable Nikon D3500. Weighing just under 13 ounces (camera body only), and with dimensions of 4.6 x 3.9 x 2.8 inches, the 24.2MP Nikon D3500 is designed to be a highly portable camera for first-time DSLR users including “parents, travelers and photo enthusiasts,” Nikon said in a press announcement today.
The poor Nikon D750 just can’t catch a break. Nikon issued another service advisory for the semi-pro DSLR today, noting that some of the cameras may have malfunctioning shutters that can affect image quality.

In a short press announcement this morning, Nikon said it's developing a forthcoming full frame (aka FX-format) professional DSLR called the Nikon D5. The D5 would be the follow-up to the 16-megapixel full frame Nikon D4S, which was announced in February 2014.
Nikon announced tonight it is developing the D850, which is the company’s “next generation full-frame, high-resolution, high-speed digital SLR.” The Nikon D850 will be the successor to the 36.3-megapixel D810 that made its debut back in 2014.
