Weird Lens Guru Takes You On a Trip to Jupiter for Some Cheap Soviet Glass (VIDEO)

Here’s another video from our favorite weird lens guru Mathieu Stern who gives a preview of some cheap Jupiter Soviet lenses. Stern regularly discusses inexpensive, oddball glass that can be used on a variety of modern digital cameras.

In this installment he looks at Jupiter lenses made by Russian optical company KMZ during the Soviet era. These lenses still turn up on eBay and elsewhere and were designed to fit a number of different camera brands, with both threaded and bayonet mounts. Take a look:
