Picture This!
Double Exposure

Double Exposure
Our Picture This! assignment for this month was Double Exposure. The challenge was to create multiple exposure images that combined various images in a way that enhanced the storytelling or created a new reality. Readers responded with a host of imaginative pictures that spoke to the newfound visual freedom of in camera and software and their wonderful sense of fun, and drama.

Radiant Power

Photographer Bob Coates wrote: "Uqualla was photographed in the studio against a white background, stripped out in Photoshop. The background image is of petroglyphs; lighting effects were created using plant images; shadow effects were added as well. All images were captured with a Fuji S2 Pro with a Nikon 35-70mm f/2.8 lens."
